North Carolina State University is seeking qualification statements from general contractors for the Centennial Biomedical Campus Chilled Water Expansion project, located on the west campus precinct. The project scope includes:
This project is the first phase of a two-phase project intended to provide the campus with reliable thermal utilities, additional capacity, and greater energy efficiency through the next decade of campus expansion. This phase includes the replacement of the plant controls system, replacement of an existing 800 ton gas engine driven chiller, condensate and deaerator replacements, electrical upgrades and plant deficiency repair. The second phase of this project will include the installation of a chilled water thermal energy storage tank.
A qualification application document must be submitted by 5:00 pm, 4/13/17, to Damian Lallathin, project manager, at Administrative Services Building III, 2701 Sullivan Dr., Suite 331, NCSU, Campus Box 7520, Raleigh, NC 27695-7520. Application packages will be available electronically after 3/20/17.
