Project: B104 Lab Renovation, CVM Main Building

Description: Phase I of the project will renovate approximately 7,700 ASF on the First Floor of Module B in the CVM Main Building, built in 1982. This module comprises approximately 3,860 ASF of Pathology teaching lab and support space; 2,320 ASF of office and storage area; and 1,518 ASF of Histology lab and support space. Simultaneous instruction of 100 students occurs in the Pathology lab for the practice of examining and identifying various veterinary pathogens and disease vectors. The intent of the renovation is to retain the existing lab functionality, but expand its footprint to accommodate more flexible and varied teaching pedagogy.

Pre-submittal Meeting: A Pre-submittal Meeting will be held June 14 at 4:00 pm in Conference Room 301, Administrative Services III, 2701 Sullivan Drive on the NC State campus. Attendance is encouraged but not mandatory.
Closing Date: 5:00 pm, June 30, 2017
Project Budget: Total project budget is $2,000,000, which includes all hard and soft costs. The project is approved through Advance Planning.
