North Carolina State University is seeking qualification statements from general contractors for improvements to the Scott Hall HVAC Upgrades – Phase II, located in NC State’s main campus precinct. Scott Hall is a 3-story science laboratory and office building that is the home of the Department of Poultry Science at NC State. The project incorporates design and construction to upgrade the HVAC system to replace the air handlers and controls in the Scott Hall main building. This project will replace equipment past its useful life and correct the dehumidification problem in the building.
To qualify, the contractor must have a general contractor’s license in the State of North Carolina as well as applicable bonding requirements. The contractor must show comparable work experience, both in complexity and dollar value and preferably in a University campus environment, to the scope of work outlined above.
To be considered, the contractor must obtain an application package from the NC State University Project Manager and submit a sealed, fully completed qualification document by 5:00 pm, July 12, 2021, to David Hammock, project manager, by email only, to email@example.com. No hard copies shall be submitted. Application packages will be available electronically after June 13, 2021. Please contact the project manager via email to request a package.
