North Carolina State University is seeking qualification statements from general contractors for improvements to the HVAC Renovation Matsumoto Wing – Brooks Hall, located in NC State’s main campus precinct. The project shall provide improved indoor air quality through ventilation and humidity control. The scope of work shall include demolition of existing fan coil units (FCUs) and piping and the installation of new FCUs (four pipe) for both heating and cooling and a dedicated outside air supply unit to precondition the ventilation air.
To qualify, the contractor must have a general contractor’s license in the State of North Carolina as well as applicable bonding requirements. The contractor must show comparable work experience, both in complexity and dollar value and preferably in a University campus environment, to the scope of work outlined above.
To be considered, the contractor must obtain an application package from the NC State University Project Manager and submit a sealed, fully completed qualification document by 5:00 pm, August 2, 2021, to David Hammock, project manager, by email only, to firstname.lastname@example.org. No hard copies shall be submitted. Application packages will be available electronically for download from the NC State solicitation website after July 4, 2021.
