North Carolina State University is seeking qualification statements from general contractors for improvements to Page Hall Mechanical & Electrical Upgrade, located on North Campus. The project scope includes new mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems; new LED lighting; roof replacement; building insulation and window upgrades; and minor architectural modifications and interior finish upgrades. The building will not be occupied during the renovation.
To qualify, the contractor must have a general contractor’s license in the State of North Carolina as well as applicable bonding requirements. The contractor must show comparable work experience, both in complexity and dollar value, and preferably in a University campus environment, to the scope of work outlined above.
To be considered, the contractor must obtain an application package from the NC State University Project Manager and submit a sealed, fully completed qualification document by 5:00 PM, September 3, 2021, to Laura Zaytoun, project manager, by email only, to llzaytou@ncsu. No hard copies shall be submitted. Application packages will be available electronically after August 2, 2021. Please contact the project manager via email (preferred) or phone to request a package.
