North Carolina State University is accepting proposals for Construction Manager at Risk for the Page Hall Mechanical & Electrical Upgrade until 5:00 p.m. on March 3, 2023. No hard copies will be accepted. Only electronic documents emailed to llzaytou@ncsu.edu will be accepted.
The project scope includes new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; new LED lighting; roof replacement; building insulation and window upgrades; and minor architectural modifications and interior finish upgrades. The building will not be occupied during the renovation. The design is 100% complete, so the precon phase will only include a constructability review, site logistics review, and cost estimate.
The project is funded through Construction. The project budget of $12.2 million includes design, construction, and other soft costs.
North Carolina State University has an affirmative policy of fostering, promoting, and conducting business with minority-owned enterprises. Minority-owned enterprises are encouraged to participate in the Construction Management at Risk Program. Construction Managers are strongly encouraged to partner with a minority business enterprise to mentor as part of their management team. Clarification: It is not a requirement for the CMR firm to partner with a HUB firm; it is strongly encouraged, but not required.
A pre-submittal conference will be held at 2:30 pm on February 6, 2023, via Zoom. Attendance is encouraged but not mandatory. The meeting link is included: https://ncsu.zoom.us/j/99029971917?pwd=anU1WUE0QUcremN4RWpEZU1IUG9BUT09
