Project: HVAC Renovations to Research Buildings I, III, IV, NC State Project # TBD
Description: This phased project will improve the aging HVAC systems in Research Buildings I, III, & IV by replacing air handling units, chillers, and upgrading BAS controls. The project will also address supporting elements such as electrical disconnects, indoor air quality, failing duct insulation, and pressurization issues.

Project Budget: The budget of $3,562,500 incorporates design, construction, and all associated soft costs.
Project Site: The project buildings are located on Capability Drive in the Centennial Campus Precinct.
Project Schedule: Planned completion of the project is summer 2026.
