Sealed proposals will be received by NC State University. Attention Damian Lallathin, until 2:00 PM on July 13th, 2017 in conference room 101, Administrative Services III Building 2701 Sullivan Drive, Raleigh, NC 27695 and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read for the furnishing of labor, material and equipment for the construction of:

Scope includes the replacement of the plant controls system, replacement of an existing 800 ton gas engine driven chiller, condensate and deaerator replacements, electrical upgrades and plant deficiency repair.

Description:  Phase I of the project will renovate approximately 7,700 ASF on the First Floor of Module B in the CVM Main Building, built in 1982. This module comprises approximately 3,860 ASF of Pathology teaching lab and support space; 2,320 ASF of office and storage area; and 1,518 ASF of Histology lab and support space. Simultaneous instruction of 100 students occurs in the Pathology lab for the practice of examining and identifying various veterinary pathogens and disease vectors. The intent of the renovation is to retain the existing lab functionality, but expand its footprint to accommodate more flexible and varied teaching pedagogy.

The DH Hill Library Tower North Face, the DH Hill Library Tower South Face, and Poe Hall Exterior are all experiencing waterproofing and leaking issues at expansion joints, control joints, windows, doors, masonry-to-masonry joints, and masonry-to-metal joint. This project will remove all existing caulking and backer rods from these interfaces, clean all surfaces of dirt, paint, and oils, prime all joints, seal all interfaces, re-caulk all interfaces, reseal all joints and seams, and repaint masonry where necessary.

Greek Village Phase 3 Infrastructure- Request for General Contractor Prequalification Submittals

North Carolina State University is seeking qualification statements from general contractors for the Greek Village Phase 3 Infrastructure project located on the South Campus Precinct. This project develops lots 8, 9 and 10 for new fraternity houses. It includes construction of the roads, parking lots, and infrastructure associated with the overall development and implementation of the houses.

To be considered, the contractor must obtain an application package from the NC State University Project Manager and submit a sealed, fully completed qualification document by 5:00 PM, June 22, 2017 to Steven R. Bostian, Project Manager, at Administrative Services Building III, 2701 Sullivan Dr., Suite 331, NCSU, Campus Box 7520, Raleigh, NC 27695-7520.  Application packages will be available electronically on May 30, 2017.  Please contact the project manager via email (preferred) or phone to request a package.  One (1) hard copy of the completed qualification packages must be submitted to the project manager.  Completed qualification packages will not be accepted electronically.
