Notice of Public Meeting for Preferred Brand Alternates
NC State University – Mann Hall Renovation
An open public meeting will be held on September 2, 2025, at 1:00 PM EST in Conf. Room 301 of Admin Services Building III at 2601 Wolf Village Way. The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss preferred brand alternates and their performance standards pertinent to this project.
In accordance with GS133-3, Section 64. (C) and State Construction Office procedures the following preferred brand items are being considered as Alternates by the Owner for this project:
- (PB-1) Elevator Controls: Smartrise Controller – SRH Controller
- (PB-2) Elevator Telephone: Hubbell Gai-Tronics Model 297
- (PB-3) Digitized Floor Annunciator: CE Electronics, Inc.
- (PB-4) Pedestrian Walks: Pine Hall Brick (Winston-Salem, NC). Pathway Full Range, traditional edge, 4”x8”x2-1/4”
- (PB-5) Accessible Curb Ramps: Pine Hall Brick (Winston-Salem, NC), Brick inset: ADA Truncated dome paver – Dark Accent, traditional edge, 4”x8”x2/1-4”
- (PB-6) Control System by Johnson Controls
- (PB-7) Control System by Schneider Electric
- (PB-8) Chilled/Hot Water Flow Meter: Flexim Fluxus F721E
- (PB-9) Domestic Cold Water Meter: Neptune MACH 10
- (PB-10) Steam: Veris Accelabar
- (PB-11) Steam Condensate: Cadillac CMAG
- (PB-12) Facility Monitoring: Aircuity
- (PB-13) Electrical Meter: Nexus 1262
