State of Facilities

Since Holladay Hall opened in 1889, NC State’s campus has evolved to meet the ever-expanding needs of a large research university. The Facilities Division continues to respond to the university’s mission by providing stewardship for the spaces and places necessary for teaching, research and innovation.

Use the dashboard below to explore the physical facilities that allow NC State’s students, faculty and staff to Think and Do. The filters at the top allow you to explore our facilities by campus precinct, building ownership, or building use. You may also use the donut charts on the right to explore buildings by age or condition.

The dashboard is powered by FM:Interact, NC State’s internal building and room database. The data is updated at the beginning of every quarter (1/1, 4/1, 7/1, 10/1). If you have questions about the dashboard, please contact Erin Seiling, eeseilin@ncsu.edu.
