The Lock Shop’s primary purpose is to provide locksmith and key control services for all facilities, faculty, staff and students on campus. Our locksmiths take pride in their skills and offer them to our clients in a courteous manner; constantly striving to ensure customer satisfaction.
The Lock Shop now has a new online Key Request Form. You MUST be an authorized key representative to submit a Key Request. To view the form, you need to be logged into your NCSU Gmail Account.

The Paint Shop maintains the aesthetic appeal of our campus. Our work ranges from painting interior/exterior of buildings to removing graffiti on campus. Our staff takes pride in their skills, offering them to our clients in a courteous manner; constantly striving to ensure customer satisfaction. Safety and Sustainability
Our Paint Shop is committed to safety and sustainability. We use Zero-VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) paints according to LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) standards. We use Zero-VOC paints in occupied spaces. High VOC coatings were discontinued to reduce any unfavorable impacts on the NCSU community and to embrace environmentally friendly coating technologies. Our paint meets MPI (Master Painters Institute) Green Performance Standards and Low-Emitting Materials criteria. Also, with respect and support for our environment, we recycle our paint while also donating paint to our local Habitat for Humanity.

Regulation 11.55.04 indicates the proper use of Painting, Sidewalk Chalking and Poster usage on campus. - Alteration, Renovation, Maintenance and Repair of Facilities
Regulation 07.25.01 changes that can and cannot be made on campus without Campus Facility assistance.

The Sign Shop creates signage for the university. These signs give direction and identify people and locations. Types of signage include door signs, name plates and desk plates. The sign shop also provides temporary signage for events.
