Campus Construction Zone Impacts
NC State and its various campus partners are working to minimize the impacts of ongoing construction around campus. Below are the most recently updated construction zone maps (interactive and pdf) as well as a map (pdf) highlighting accessible pathways for navigating North Campus construction areas.
North Campus Construction
NC State has concurrent projects on the north side of campus impacting several buildings between Yarbrough Drive and Hillsborough Street. The ongoing construction in and around the Brickyard requires select pedestrian and vehicular routes shift as our work continues. Stay up-to-date on the construction zones and accessible pathways below.
- The majority of the Brickyard will be closed from May 11 through August 16 for ongoing construction activities. If you’re traveling east-west through the area, please use the Founders Drive or Yarbrough Drive pathways.
- The recommended access route to D.H. Hill Jr. Library is the north entrance off Founders Drive. Construction limits will be reduced in phases as sections of the Brickyard are completed. Individuals accessing campus from the Free Expression Tunnel should follow posted signs directing ADA and pedestrian traffic to the West Williams ramp.
- If you need assistance, Wolfpack Pick Up offers free, scheduled golf cart transportation across Main Campus for those with short- or long-term mobility support needs.
The NC State campus map contains more detailed parking options as well as building and tunnel locations.
