North Carolina State University is seeking qualification statements from general contractors for improvements to Tri-Towers Mechanical Systems Update – Phase II, located in NC State’s Central Campus precinct. This project will renovate the HVAC system in Carroll Hall (built in 1968). The renovation will focus on outside air makeup and exhaust air systems to address moisture intrusion issues. Additional scope includes firestopping the utility chase walls and painting the building interior. Work shall be completed during the summer break.
To qualify, the contractor must have a general contractor’s license in the State of North Carolina as well as applicable bonding requirements. The contractor must show comparable work experience, both in complexity and dollar value, and preferably in a university campus environment, to the scope of work outlined above.
To be considered, the contractor must obtain an application package from the NC State University Project Manager and submit a fully completed qualification document by 5:00 pm, 9/17/26, to David Hammock, project manager, by email only to [email protected].
