Request for General Contractor Prequalification Submittals- Reconstruction and Upgrades to Centennial Campus Substation

North Carolina State University is seeking qualification statements from public utilities contractors for the Reconstruction and Upgrades to the Centennial Campus Substation located on Centennial Campus. The project scope includes replacing electrical equipment damaged in a recent fire and upgrading the capacity of the substation to provide a parallel redundant system for Centennial Campus.

To qualify, the contractor must have a public utilities contractor’s license in the State of North Carolina as well as applicable bonding requirements.  The contractor must show comparable work experience, both in complexity and dollar value, and preferably in a university campus environment, to the scope of work outlined above.

To be considered, the contractor must obtain an application package from the NC State University Project Manager and submit a fully completed qualification document by 5:00pm. May 3, 2024, to Melanie Butler project manager, by email only to DC_Formal_Prequal@ncsu.eduNo hard copies will be accepted.  Application packages will be available electronically after April 14, 2024.  Please contact the project manager via email (preferred) or phone to request a package or download it from the link below.

NOTE: The SCO Prequalification Package has been updated recently.  Please use the project-specific form provided by NC State by the link below.  Submissions on any other form will be considered non-responsive.
