New South – Right Build, A Joint Venture will be re-bidding the following bid packages supporting the NC State University Baseball Addition & Renovations project at Doak Field – Phase 2 (pre-qualified bidders only):

- 2-08A Doors, Frames & Hardware
- 2-08B Aluminum & Glazing
- 2-08C Acrylic OHD’s & Coiling Service Doors
- 2-09A Drywall Assemblies
- 2-09B Acoustical Ceilings & Panels
- 2-09G Turnkey Flooring
- 2-12A Window Blinds
- 2-32C Fences & Gates
Bid Opening/Submission:
Sealed Bids will be received for the bid packages noted above on October 15, 2024, at 3:00 PM in Conference Room 124A in the Administrative Services III building on the NC State University campus located at 2701 Sullivan Drive, Raleigh, NC 27607. For specified bid packages, only those prequalified to bid on select packages are allowed to submit for this re-bid. All bidders are encouraged to locate this room prior to the bid time. Late submissions will be deemed non-responsive.
Bids that are not hand-delivered to Conference Room 124A may be delivered to the office of New South Construction Company, LLC at 1715 Camden Avenue, Durham, NC 27704 in sealed envelopes no later than 12:00PM on October 10, 2024. Company name, company contact information, project name, and bid package shall be clearly indicated on the outside of the sealed envelope.
The following documents must be submitted with your bid.

- Bid Bond (as required for any package above $500,000)
If all documents are not submitted, the subcontractor’s proposal will be deemed non-responsive.
Bonding Requirements:
Bid bonds will be required for any bid package exceeding $500,000. Payment and performance bonds will not be required for this project. Successful bidders will be enrolled in the Subcontractor Default Insurance (SDI) program issued by the CMAR. The cost of the SDI will be borne by the CMAR.
HUB Participation:
The Construction Manager is seeking participation from certified state of North Carolina HUB companies for this project. Participation is encouraged from both tier 1 and tier 2 subcontractors. The stated HUB participation goal for this project is 25%.
