Request for General Contractor Prequalification Submittals- Lighting Conversion – CVM Main Building Phase 1

North Carolina State University is seeking qualification statements from general or electrical contractors for improvements to CVM Main Building, located on the Centennial Biomedical Campus.  The project scope includes replacing the existing lighting in corridors and stairwells with new LED lighting. Minimal cutting, patching, and painting may be required.

To qualify, the contractor must have a general contractor’s license or an unlimited electrical license in the State of North Carolina as well as applicable bonding requirements.  The contractor must show comparable work experience, both in complexity and dollar value, and preferably in a university campus environment, to the scope of work outlined above

To be considered, the contractor must obtain an application package from the NC State University Project Manager and submit a fully completed qualification document by 5:00 p.m., April 10, 2024, to Julie Snead, project manager, by email only to DC_Formal_Prequal@ncsu.eduNo hard copies will be accepted.  Application packages will be available electronically after March 22, 2024.  Please contact the project manager via email (preferred) or phone to request a package or download it from the link below.
