Romeo Guest – Right Build, A Joint Venture (RGA-RBI) will be re-bidding the following bid packages supporting the NC State University Baseball Renovation & Addition project at Doak Field.
Bid Packages:
- #1-01B: Surveying & Staking
- #1-03A: Turnkey Cast-in-Place Concrete (pre-qualified bidders only)
- #1-08A: Overhead Coiling Doors
- #1-11A: Sports Netting & Indoor Synthetic Turf
- #1-22A: Plumbing (pre-qualified bidders only)
- #1-26A: Electrical (pre-qualified bidders only)
- #1-32A: Sitework (pre-qualified bidders only)
- #1-32C: Decorative Fencing
Bid Opening/Submission:
Sealed Bids will be received for the bid packages noted above on May 14, 2024, at 2:00 PM in Conference Room 301 in the Administrative Services III building on the NC State University campus located at 2701 Sullivan Drive, Raleigh, NC 27607. For specified bid packages, only those prequalified to bid on select packages are allowed to submit for this re-bid. Those bid packages that are NOT deemed pre-qualified are available for open bidding.
Bids that are not hand-delivered to Conference Room 301 may be delivered to the office of Right-Build International, Inc. at 2232 Page Road, Suite 102, Durham, NC 27703 in sealed envelopes no later than 12:00PM on May 14, 2024. Company name, company contact information, project name, and bid package shall be clearly indicated on the outside of the sealed envelope.
The following documents must be submitted with your bid.

- Bid Bond (as required for any package above $500,000)
If all documents are not submitted, the subcontractor’s proposal will be deemed non-responsive.
Bonding Requirements:
Bid bonds will be required for any bid package exceeding $500,000. Payment and performance bonds will not be required for this project. Successful bidders will be enrolled in the Subcontractor Default Insurance (SDI) program issued by the CMAR. The cost of the SDI will be borne by the CMAR.
HUB Participation:
RGA-RBI is seeking participation from certified state of North Carolina HUB companies for this project. Participation is encouraged from both tier 1 and tier 2 subcontractors. The stated HUB participation goal for this project is 20%.
