North Carolina State University is seeking qualification statements from general contractors for improvements to the Morrill Drive and Phase II Campus-Wide Domestic Water Line Replacement, located in NC State’s Central Campus Precinct. This phased project replaces approximately 1800 feet of 1960s vintage 8″ cast iron water main with 12″ ductile iron and includes replacing hydrants. The scope is from Jordan Hall (Faucette Drive) to Morrill Drive and then along Morrill Drive to Rocky Branch Creek.
To qualify, the contractor must have a general contractor’s license in the State of North Carolina as well as applicable bonding requirements. The contractor must show comparable work experience, both in complexity and dollar value, and preferably in a university campus environment, to the scope of work outlined above.
To be considered, the contractor must obtain an application package from the NC State University Project Manager and submit a fully completed qualification document by March 10, 2025, 5:00 pm, to David Hammock, project manager, by email only to DC_Formal_Prequal@ncsu.edu. No hard copies will be accepted. Please contact the project manager via email (preferred) or phone to request a package or download it from the link below.
